Angela Levitt has been treating local Lake Placid area residents with electrolysis treatments for over 12 years.

Like many people, Angela struggled with both facial and body hair in her younger years. After researching a variety of hair removal tactics, she finally tried electrolysis in her 20’s. Years later, when looking for a career change, she reflected on the positive impact electrolysis had on her own confidence and social growth and determined this was a career path that she knew would fulfill her desire to help others.

In 2010, Angela opened Adk Electrology with the hope of providing people with the confidence that the treatments brought her.

Over the years, she has experienced a significant number of conditions and situations that have allowed her to become an expert in the field. Her specialties include sensitive skin, dark curly hair, the ability to handle various pain tolerances, and the ability to customize treatments for the best possible results for each person’s individual needs.

Unlike other electrolysis companies, Angela only uses insulated probes, which provide a coating along the shaft of the probe, making it more comfortable at the skin's surface. While these insulated probes are about 40% more expensive because of their additional comfort qualities, Angela understands that her customer’s satisfaction comes first.
